Eminem scored seven nominations for the MTV Video Music Awards – Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Male Video, Best Collaboration, Best Editing, Best Direction, Best Art Direction and Best Visual Effects.

The awards show, which hands out “Moonman” statuettes of an astronaut planting and MTV flag, will also help unveil Madison Square Garden Co’s revamped Forum arena in Inglewood, California.
